Seadoo and Snorkelling Excursion

We had a brilliant day out on the ocean on sea doos.  So much fun.  Really bouncy because of all the waves and swells.  Muscles were a little sore the following day.  We also snorkelled and saw some angel fish, barracuda, and others.

Birds off our balcony

As you can see, they aren't too food of the Donald.

Sign on the beach here in Puerto Vallarta.

Our view from the balcony of Banderas Bay and a cruise ship
Orange fronted parroquet

Rufous bellied chachalaca
This guy crashed into our glass doors that run the length of the
balcony.  We came out to see what all the noise was and he was
trapped behind the glass until Rob went out and he remembered he
had wings and could fly away.  They make an incredible racket
when they screech.

Market Tour in Mexico City

We hired a guide for the market tours as apparently it's quite dangerous on your own as well as complicated.  It was a really interesting tour.  We saw so many amazing things.

Different types of corn

Aloe and spices to cure whatever.

Every type of chili pepper possible I think

Different flavoured salsas

Zucchini flowers which they put in quesadillas

Zucchini

Rob trying to decide which bug he wants.  Scorpions, beetles, worms.

Us with our guide, Ho.

Zucchini flowers in a tortilla.  It was really good.

Making tortillas.  We had one hot off the stove.  So good.

A nice little appetizer plate Ho arranged for us to have.  Mezcal (like Tequila but from a different region).
Peanuts, fried crickets and an orange piece with worm salt.  Rob ate a cricket but thought it was not
very good.  The Mezcal was good however.

Wall mural of when this market was started.  (Day after Rob was born)

Santo Muerto statues and Christian statues you can buy to take home.
He's coverd in US $ because American money has a lot of icons on it.

Life size Santo Muerto (Dead Saint) you can buy for your house.
You can get different outfits for it as well to change it up.

Sweet seller.  Ant larvae on the right.

Beautiful historical building.
