Madrid - October 25-30, 2019

Beautiful building on the Bank of Spain square.
We think it's a convention hall or something like that.

Ceramic street sign.

Countryside outside of Madrid.

Jaume Plensa sculpture of a woman's head.
Third one we've seen here.
These are called pinchos and you just keep ordering them
as you eat.  So good.  Like amazing appetizers.

More pinchos.

These statues are all over Madrid for some art exposition.
I think they are supposed to be Ladies in Waiting.

A really charming bookshop.
Looked magical.

Parrots on the grass near the Prado museum.

Rob in our hotel bar.

The emblem of Madrid- bear eating berries from a tree.
