Culzean Castle & Country Park

Today we drove to Culzean Castle.  It's an estate more so than a castle.  It has been owned by several Earls and the Kennedy family from here.  Not sure where they got their money from but it's owned by the National Trust now and you can even stay there as the top floor is run as a hotel.  Would have been amazing to spend a night here.  Right on the sea looking out at the Isle of Arran.

Sorry the pictures are not in order.  I blame the site.
This is my favourite flower, the Scottish thistle.

Me in the Walled Garden.

Swans are everywhere. So beautiful.

These were the loos in the park.

Just the size of toadstool one would expect in the United Kingdom.

Moorhen

Rob by the walled garden

Deer Park (every good estate has to have a deer park)

We couldn't see the Highland Coo's.

I think this needs to be recited with a whisky in your hand.

Haven't tried these yet but had to get a bag.

Beautiful Scottish flag

Culzean kitchen.  Massive!

More ovens

Fancy bathtub

Boat shaped bed for children

Double staircase.

Wall of pistols; one of many.  You can never have too many.
