Uk Trip

August 21st, 2018

After a very long 10 hour flight we arrived at Gatwick, luggage arrived and we got our rental car.  The drive down to Emsworth was about 1 1/2 on highway so not too bad despite Rob having to remember that he was driving on the opposite side of the road and was driving stickshift.  The highway part was easy as you could only go in one direction in all lanes.  We made it to our little hotel and were given our room right at the front over the terrace.
Cute, eh?

We had lunch and then made our way to our friends' house about 1/2 hour away.  That was an adventure in driving as it was all small roads, no lines, roundabouts and weird turns.  Rob did it all brilliantly.
We had a nice reunion with our friends, Colin and Diane and then went for a long walk around the town (village really) which is the perfect thing to do when you are jetlagged.

This is Mork who is a Stabyhoun, a Dutch breed.  His name is Danish for Dark.
