Glenmorangie Whiskey Distillery, Tain, Rosshire

We finally chose a distillery to visit as it is an integral part of a trip to Scotland.  This one is owned by LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessey) as opposed to all the others who are owned by Diageo.  It was actually pretty interesting.  Just need barley, Scottish fresh stream water and yeast and bob's your uncle.  Oh and barrels from Missouri, Old Jack Daniel barrels.  Apparently they can only be used once so they sell them to this distillery.

Adding the yeast.  He had us smell it and it hits you like a brick.
